A Dosing System is needed if your water is harsh and requires additional help with difficult contaminants such as high or permanent hardness, high or low pH as well as addressing bacterial or metal concerns.  Depending on the need, a specific solution is injected into the concentrate flow before it reaches the filtration system itself. The solutions we offer can prevent scale build-up, pre-filter foulant water, enhance or reduce a pH, eliminate bacteria growth and oxidize metals as required.

Dosing System Includes:

• 5 GPD Pump
• 30-gallon retention tank (19" x 19" x 36")
• 3 Connecting nuts (1/4" or 3/8")
• 3 Ferrules w/1/4" & 6 mm OR 2 ferrules w/3/8"
• 1 Injection check valve (100 psi) OR (1) injection fitting (25 psi)
• 1 Weighted strainer
• 1 20' Roll of suction/discharge tubing 1/4" white
• 1 Mounting bracket

Available Solutions:

• Anti-Silica 

Our Anti-Silica Dosing System and Solution are specially formulated for feedwater with higher levels of metals, silica, and scale–forming minerals. This system is effective over a wide range of concentrations and is used in hard water conditions to prevent scale build-up which will restrict membrane flow and increase concentrate values. Our Solution includes a non-oxidizing agent to remove biofilm from membranes. The Dosing System is fully electronic and adjustable to your water. The silica solution is a light amber liquid which Certified to meet Standard 60 for drinking water additives.

• Anti-foulant

Our Anti-foulant Dosing System and Solution are designed for use in all membrane systems treating feedwaters with high potentials for fouling by silt, organics, colloids, and fine particles. This highly effective anticoagulant can be used with a wide range of concentrations.  The Antifoulant also acts as an anti-deposition agent for the colloidal matter in sea and brackish surface waters, as well as industrial and municipal wastewaters.  This allows the antifoulant to prevent coagulation and membrane fouling by both colloidal organic matter and inorganic colloids. The Dosing System is fully electronic and adjustable to your water. Antifoulant is a light amber liquid that is Certified to meet Standard 60 for drinking water additives.

• Silica/Foulant Blend Combo Blend

Our Silica/Foulant Blend Dosing System uses an effective combination of silica and anti-foulant solutions, specially formulated for feedwater with the highest levels of metals, hardness, including silica, and scale–forming minerals. This system also treats feedwaters with high potentials for fouling by silt, organics, colloids, and fine particles. The Dosing System is fully electronic and adjustable to your water. The Combo Blend is a light amber liquid that is Certified to meet Standard 60 for drinking water additives.

• Sodium Bicarbonate - pH Balancing

This pH Balancing Dosing System is perfectly suited for any water system with varying flow rates and pH levels below 6.0 or in cases where you do not want to raise the hardness of the water with calcite or manganese oxide. It neutralizes the pH at any flow rate - high or low, by using soda ash which raises the pH without increasing the hardness. Our Dosing System will inject the precise amount of neutralizer into the water stream at 1 GPM or 50 GPM. The Dosing System is fully electronic and adjustable to your water. Sodium Bicarbonate is a white granular powder which is Certified to meet Standard 60 for drinking water additives.

• Organic Acid - pH Reducer

Our pH Reducer Dosing System will inject the precise amount of Organic Acid into the water stream at 1 GPM or up to 22 GPM. The Dosing System is fully electronic and adjustable to your water. Our Organic Acid is a white granular powder which is Certified to meet Standard 60 for drinking water additives.

• Chlorine

Our Chlorine Dosing System will inject the precise amount of Chlorine into the water stream. Many private water wells require a Chlorine Dosing System, either to kill bacteria, to eliminate odors, pre-treat the water for iron removal, or to treat iron bacteria, as well converting Arsenic III to V. The Dosing System is fully electronic and adjustable to your water. Chlorine is Certified to meet Standard 60 for drinking water additives..
